Bring in a new soccer ball, and you can pick one of our soccer banks, soccer plaques or soccer bowls to paint! Why? No, its not World Cup fever, although that’s exciting. Our own Emily Osley is going on a mission trip with Highland Park Church (down the street) to Rwanda in July, and they are taking soccer balls to give out to the children in the community they are helping. I (Kristin) thought since Lakeland is a soccer town, some of you may like the opportunity to send a ball as well as have something for your soccer fan to paint this summer!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Buy a new soccer ball (they are $10-15) & bring it to PicassoZ Art Cafe. We will trade ya a paintable ceramic soccer shape (worth $19.50-$22) for each new ball.
You can use a sharpie & your child sign their name on the ball, too! It’s super cool for the little kids in Africa to see, as well as for your child to feel how giving to others is totally fun! **We have several cases of soccer items, but If the soccer bisque is gone, we issue a rain check!
